Finally!
I bumped my All Time High at the Chess Tactics Server (CTS) by a few points (7!) and that feels good! It has been a while since the last record. In some way, I manage to fool myself that I am under rated at CTS (what are ratings for?). Still, my ratings at other sites tend to be grossly above my well rounded lack of skill.

ReplyDeleteFor me ratings are the reason why I choose to suck at chess...The rating is what gives a chessplayer his power. It's an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together.
And of course there's bragging rights... ;-)
