My next idea is to decrease My number of corr games to 2-4 and treat every post opening move as a Stoyko exercise.

FICS on iPad?

Is there a good app for playing at FICS using an iPad? Anyone up for a game in a euro friendly timeslot?

Simul at the office

Three members from a local chess club kindly accepted to give a chess lecture at my office and to play some simul games. Below is one of my games. We agreed to a premature draw to have time for a second game. I messed up the protocol from the second game but it was not as interesting but still a fine example of a fine player grinding down a generic patzer.

A Chess Date?

I need to play more slow games on a regular basis. Games against Human flesh and not silicon! So, I encourage everybody will a similar correlation between Chess Passion and Chess Skills to contact yours truly to arrange a match series.

My current estimate of the correlation mentioned above is in the neighborhood of -0.83. I do pretty OK solving tactics problems really slow at Chesstempo but I have never managed to break to 1300-ceiling at ICC.

Again, if you feel like arrange a match series of weekly/biweekly slow chess games against a certified patzer,then make some noise and drop me a note.
